Economic Democracy Initiative
The Economic Democracy Initiative (EDI), led by Bard College, is the Open Society University Network’s collaborative program focusing on the structural determinants of economic insecurity. Its curricular and research projects examine the connections between inequality, unemployment, and poverty, as well as the policy space and financing capacities of governments to address these challenges.

The Job Guarantee
The job guarantee is a policy innovation that helps create full and meaningful employment for all via direct job creation. It is a voluntary program open to every working-age person who is ready, willing, and able to work.
