Levy Scholars Present at IAFFE Conference 2024 in Rome

On July 3-5, Senior Scholars Thomas Masterson and Gennaro Zezza and Research Scholars Aashima Sinha and Francesco Zezza presented at the 32nd Annual Conference of the International Association for Feminist Economists (IAFFE) at the Sapienza Universita di Roma in Italy.
Masterson presented “The impact of social care provision in Mexico on time and income poverty” (Masterson, Zacharias, Rios-Avila, and Sinha) and chaired the panel “Care Economy, Time Use, Unpaid Work.”
G. Zezza presented “Modeling alternative methods of financing investments for gender equality” (Zacharias, Zezza, and Masterson).
Sinha chaired the pre-conference and mentoring workshop committee and the panel “Care work, care employment, time and income poverty in the United States.” She presented “Rethinking Poverty in the United States: A Time and Income Poverty Measure for Gender-equitable Economic Development” (Zacharias, Masterson, Rios-Avila, and Sinha).
F. Zezza presented “Breaking the Divide: Can Public Spending on Social Infrastructure Boost Female Employment in Italy?” (Zezza and Reljic).
