Research Associate Olivier Giovannoni is a macroeconomist specializing in income distribution and labor market conditions, with particular interest in empirical and policy-relevant work. His work has been featured in The New York Times, the French Senate, the US House Committee on Financial Services, the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development, the Club de Madrid, and the Institute for New Economic Thinking. Giovannoni is a member of the University of Texas Inequality Project and has been on the faculty of Bard College’s economics program since 2010. He holds a B.S. and a Ph.D. from the University of Nice.
